Google closed the Search Service In China

Finally, the fate of Google in China was determined by the decision to close a search service in the world's largest market. This is the official notice posted on the Google Blog today, and all queries to the page Google.cn will be redirected to page google.com.hk . 

This means that close a search service in the largest market (if in terms of population) is then Google would lose a great number of clients as well as the global rankings can be affected very much. China now accounts for one fifth of the world population, with nearly 400 million Internet users, so stop service provider in China that Google will lose significant revenue source and means to facilitate competition Baidu monopolize the domestic market.  

"…earlier today we stopped censoring our search services—Google Search, Google News, and Google Images—on Google.cn. Users visiting Google.cn are now being redirected to Google.com.hk, where we are offering uncensored search in simplified Chinese, specifically designed for users in mainland China and delivered via our servers in Hong Kong."

Although censorship regime abandoned when redirecting customers to google.com.hk, but many experts are concerned that a Chinese government would shut down the site google.com.hk by Hong Kong  remain part of China.

Home Marketing Pilgrim has expressed concern regarding the employees of Google in China after the company shut down its services in host countries. They may suffer sanctions or court. Google then explains that this is only their decision was made in the USA than the local staff can not or do not have responsibility in this matter.  

"Finally, we would like to make clear that all these decisions have been driven and implemented by our executives in the United States, and that none of our employees in China can, or should, be held responsible for them."

Thus, the fate of Google has clearly demonstrated the Chinese government has very strong hands in this matter. If a wider understanding, this can be seen as form of protection for domestic products or related to other sensitive elements. However, Baidu is the most benefit from this decision.
